Hello Stranger…
I’m Cosmo, a writer, director, and editor from the Bay Area. My interest in film started at a young age after my sister and I found an old camcorder and began trying to recreate scenes from classic books and movies. Later, when I got my first laptop, I discovered the world of editing and started making short films with friends and family.
I eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue film school. Through my creative work, I’ve come to understand how important it is to tell stories from my unique perspective as a person with a disability. With my films, I hope to represent and inspire others with disabilities, and to help bridge understanding between disabled and non-disabled communities, all while still creating engaging, powerful, and immersive films.
My films have been presented at festivals such as:
- Slamdance
- HollyShorts
- Waco Independent
- New Filmmakers Los Angeles
